Nurse turnover is one of the most significant - and yet preventable - challenges facing healthcare today.
Healthcare organizations are investing heavily in recruitment…
but turnover continues to rise.
The solution isn’t getting people in the door.
It’s creating the conditions that make them want to stay.
Retention is not just a workforce issue - it’s a leadership and financial issue.
Saskatchewan Nurse Retention Forum
This first-ever Forum brought together frontline nurses, nurse leaders, students, educators, researchers, policymakers, and healthcare partners from across the province to explore practical solutions to one of the biggest challenges facing healthcare today: retaining and supporting the nursing workforce.
The Forum included an interactive half-day co-design lab focused on creating practical actions and ideas that can support healthier workplaces and stronger retention.
